Meet Eliot

Professional Background

In 10+ years of clinical experience, I’ve had the privilege of working with a diverse array of clients and mental health issues. I earned a Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology from West Chester University in 2014. During this program I completed a clinical practicum in an inpatient drug and alcohol rehabilitation facility and a clinical internship in an outpatient mental health facility. From 2014 to 2017 I provided individual therapy, couples therapy, and family therapy as a clinician under the guidance of licensed practitioners. Since receiving Professional Counselor licensure in 2017 I have specialized in individual therapy.

Approach to Therapy

My approach integrates several therapeutic modalities including Cognitive Behavioral therapy, Psychodynamic therapy, Dialectic Behavioral therapy, and Cognitive Processing therapy. Every person is different, so I develop a unique treatment plan and set of therapeutic interventions that best fits each one of my clients. Often this means that I will utilize tools from several different therapeutic models, tapping into their various strengths and helping clients most effectively grow and make positive change.
